Before applying to rent a property, you should first check to make sure you meet the requirements to rent a property.
- Must have a credit score of at least 550 or higher.
- Your monthly income should be at least three times the amount of the monthly rent.
- Must show proof of income by verifiable sources and documentation.
- Applicants and co-applicants must pay $40 each for screening fees.
- Anyone who would be living in the house over the age of 18 must pay a $20 for screening fees.
- After the screening, all payments for the screening fee become non-refundable.
- Must be prepared for a check of evictions, criminal background, credit scores, and SSN verification.
- Every applicant must provide at least 3 references.
- Must have an ID or photo identification.
- Must be able to pay in cash, check, or money order only. NO CREDIT CARD.
